SEO & Google Ads Specialist

Position Overview:
As an SEO & Google Ads Specialist, you’ll play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing search marketing strategies across both organic and paid channels. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients — from local service providers to national e-commerce brands — helping them improve visibility, increase qualified traffic, and achieve measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and link-building initiatives.
Optimize websites across various CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, and Showit) following best practices.
Set up, manage, and interpret insights from Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console to monitor organic performance.
Optimize and maintain Google Business Profiles for improved local search visibility.
Utilize SEO tools such as SEranking, AgencyAnalytics, and Google Workspace to track results and refine strategies.
Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices.
Google Ads (PPC):
Develop and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max, ensuring alignment with client goals and ROI targets.
Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, audience segmentation, and bidding strategy optimization.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with the team to integrate paid and organic strategies for holistic search performance.
Stay current with Google Ads updates, platform innovations, and competitive trends.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and Google Ads management.
Proven success in driving measurable results across both organic and paid search campaigns.
Proficiency in GA4, Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEranking, AgencyAnalytics, and Google Workspace.
Experience optimizing and maintaining websites across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Showit).
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Rate:
$40-50 per hour CAD, based on experience

Position Overview:
The Client Account Manager with Searchlight Digital will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing internal project coordination, and maintaining effective communication across partner Slack channels and email inboxes.
This role acts as the key point of contact for our clients and internal team members by ensuring client deliverables are completed on time and that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
Client Communications:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients by maintaining consistent communication, addressing inquiries, and sharing project progress updates.
Internal Project Management:
Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and resources to ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain client projects in Asana by updating notes, adding requests or changes, and assigning tasks.
Ensure Asana projects are organized for efficiency by setting up new projects, updating projects, and archiving and cleaning up any completed client projects.
Slack Channel Management:
Monitor and respond to messages across internal Slack channels and email inboxes promptly.
Act as a liaison by effectively facilitating communication between Searchlight Digital’s team members and partners.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and resources to ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain client projects in Asana by updating notes, adding requests or changes, and assigning tasks.
Ensure Asana projects are organized for efficiency by setting up new projects, updating projects, and archiving and cleaning up any completed client projects.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by exceeding expectations, effective communication, and professionalism.
Send monthly reporting emails to customers.
Customer Experience:
Deliver a warm and exceptional 5-star customer experience to clients by going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications
Experience in Customer Service, Customer Success or any related field.
Administration or Project Management experience.
In-depth understanding and expertise in marketing awareness, SEO, reporting, and key marketing terminology.
Technically versed in Dubsado, Asana Google Suite, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush is an asset.
Proven work experience in a Marketing Agency Environment is considered a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple client accounts and internal projects efficiently.
A strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs and expectations while leading interactions with a friendly and professional demeanor.
A proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency in Client Account Management.
Ability to identify and resolve issues and provide creative solutions when challenges arise.
Adaptable written and verbal communication style to effectively communicate marketing concepts and terminology with clients and internal team members.
